Springs swap
Could you use rear springs up front in a disco 2?
i seem to recall rear are slightly taller? So if your using any leveling spacers/pucks - in theory you could achieve rears up front?

I've used OEM rear D2 springs on the front of a D1 to level it out, but if you look at the bottom of the OEM D2 front springs they aren't the same. They have a spot where the coil sits on the spring cup a certain way vs the rear which does not.
I've lifted two this way. Check out the link in my signature. Some of the info is outdated, I need to update the post, but rear springs in the front will net you 3.5" lift. I cut/weld the shock towers lower in the front. The rear I make a spacer and I weld in extension tabs on the rear shock mounts.
Sounds as though they are interchangeable- however different footprint..
I have a newer set of HD rear & would like to maybe try them front and go heavier duty in rear to see for myself how it rides & compression stance.
I’m not interested in doing a budget “cut” /welding here. i had seen your execution Alex_M - Just the thing for some..
