Squeaking brakes - any sprays available?

If your wheels are getting stuck on the hubs, you must be missing some center caps. I had a few missing on my P38 and those wheels liked to get stuck. Do yourself a favor and wipe a little never seize on the rim where it slips on the hub to center it. You might not have your 2x4 with you when you get a flat.
Put a little on the studs as well. And get a torque wrench for your lug nuts (103 ft-lbs) so you don't warp your rotors.

my bad.. I meant to write pads.. just a generalization when talking 'tires'. We were running out of time that day and meant to revisit it but then the head gaskets failed and the brakes were a distant memory.. guess I'll be doing some brake work this weekend!

Thanks.. did that already on the front wheels (which were the worst) and still have to revisit it on the rear.

Silicon high melting point Brake Grease is good on the rear of the pads and shims, also the top and bottom edges of the pads where they contact the calipers. You can also use on the caliper pistons under the gaiters and on the slider pins. On the wheel/hub contact faces and wheel studs I smear Copperslip, makes for an easier life when (never have needed to - yet) change a wheel in the peeing rain on the side of the auroroute.
