SRS Light 01 Disco II
Hello,
Recently I had the SRS light come on. After doing some LF surfing I found a possible solution, before heading to a shop.
There are a couple of simple reasons why this might happen.
Alternator going bad, but my tach was fine.
The automatic seat belt tensioners.
And the wiring connectors under the front seats. That can be accessed from the rear seats.
This is what mine turned out to be.
Under each seat is a wiring connector (yellow) that goes to the automatic tensioner.
I just unplugged and plugged them back in a couple times.
And all is well.
Apparently the connectors can get a little corrosion on them.
Hopes this will help.
Cheers!
