Default Stalled, wouldn't restart

I was pulling into the auto parts store of all places to unload my used oil when it stalled pulling into the parking space just as I came to a stop. It wouldn't restart. It cranked fine but would just turn and turn like no fuel or fire. Battery is strong, new wires, plugs, and coil packs.. I check my fuel relay and everything else which all looked good. The parking spot was on some what of a hill so I just put it in neutral and let it roll down the hill a few feet and after that it started right up?? I'm not able to reproduce it. It this the beginning of my Crankshaft sensor failing? I have no codes on the ultra gauge and what was even stranger, was after it did start, the Ultragauge read ERR: But that went away after the next restart.

Could definitely be the CPK. If it is, it will die on you after it heats up. Also double check your inertia switch.

First and most common thing to happen on a hot day.
It may start up when cold but will stall again or not start at all.
How mechanical are you?

Ok, amazingly a local parts store has the sensor and of course now it's not restarting. Will have to wait for the wife to get home. I've look at the "how to" thread and it seems pretty straight forward. Just be sure and put back in the order the parts came out... Got it.

Pour cold water on sensor to cool it down to reset.

OK, changed the CPS, that wasn't to bad and seems to have fixed the problem. Drove all night and starts just fine while hot. Guess I'll know for certain tomorrow in the noon heat but I'm pretty sure that was it. Funny, with all the CPS threads lately I was just about to change it as preventative maintenance. Guess I'll join you Mike and keep a spare on hand! So, has anyone ever had that issue with the UltraGauge before?

I have a couple times. It seems to happen when power is disrupted. Always goes back to normal though and I don't worry about it.
