Default stalling disco2

I have a 2000 disco2. When I pull up to a stop sometimes the rpms drop off real low and sometimes it will die. It seems to be worse in low range. If I put it in neutral as soon as I stop it is fine. It does not do it all the time but it does it enough to be bothersome. Run 93 octane. Have recently changed plugs and wires. Getting ready to change trans fluid and filter. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Micah

Idle air control valve, could clean with carb cleaner. Also check for vac leaks.

Did this happen after you did the tune up, what brand of plugs and wires did you use? Also, clean the t/body with carb cleaner.

Mike,
It was doing it before the wire and plug change. Not any better or worse. When I first stop it is okay for a few seconds then it will bog down sometimes and then it is like the transmission goes into neutral even though it is in drive. In 4 low when I stop and it bogs down it will die most of the time. It will start right back up with no problem. It idles fine in park and nuetral. Starts fine and the transmission does not seem to be slipping.
May not be making any since to you but I appreciate the help in advance. Love my Land Rover.
Micah
