so m 99; disco I has a hard time starting it takes about 3-4 times to start while giving alot of gas to get going. My cd player wont turn on as well as my seats and heaters ect. Dash works fine lights as well. When i park or change gears it makes a horrible grinding soun. No clue about what it could be...anyone had something like this happen. Happy holidays as well

 

Sounds like multiple issues. Check plug wires for shorts, cd player has a cable routed to it check to see if it is connected. Seat heaters fail over time, you may need to replace them. One of mine heats p fine and the other does not, both of mine have light illuminating on console panel. Give us an update after you check things out.

 

the heater cd player ect all have worked fine until the starting problems. sorry i didnt make it very clear all the problems have come after the car hasnt started or really ran the same

 

So what have you done to find any of the problems? Do you have a check engine light on, if so what are the codes?
You never give a fuel injected vehicle gas to start it, that will shut down the ECU's function.
How mechanical are you? If not, tow it to a shop and turn them loose on it, let us know what they find.
