Default Steering detent feel ?

Feels like when driving straight, there is a small detent and play at the steering wheel; but does not happen always. Some days yes, others not.
What is the typical worn part and fix ? Steering box, terminals... else ?

start simple, check the tie rod ends and bushings first

X1, you'll probably find the ***** ends are worn and not the steering box. Out of balance wheels cause vibes which ruin the ball ends PDQ. I've found a heavier more resistive steering damper helps a lot with steering issues. Using a TF instead of a standard LR.
