Default Steering noise help

Hi, I have a pretty strong high pitch noise when turning , also the steering fluid is leaking . I took the Steering pump off and it looks like its leaking from the hose under the SP . I know sometimes it leaks from the steering gear box also , so I can't really tell where is it leaking coming from . Can the noise come from the steering gear box also? I only paid 1K for the car , so I can't spend the money for new or reman gear box and SP . Can someone tell me what rebuild kit do I need for the SP and gear box ? Should I rebuild them ? Is it hard? Any help would be nice , thanks a lot !

You only spent 1k on it and you can’t afford to fix anything? Or you dont want to put money in it?

how do you know it’s not the ps pump?

You can rebuild the pump and the box.

I bought a reman pump and put in Lucas stop leak. It eventually stopped leaking lol.

I don't really know if is the pump , but I thought sense I have everything out , to rebuild both the SP and gear box , just in case....I was wondering if the gear box can make the noise like SP .... Thanks
