Ha! Yes, odd wording, the U Joint at the steering box is totally shot, looks like one on a driveshaft that has worn out. I use these threads kind of like a diary, so I am not always grammatically with it.

New Intermediate Steering shaft is in. I got a Power Steering box with 68,000 miles in as well. The high Pressure Hose was a casualty of war, so after some trial and tribulations the new genuine hose is in, not easy but doable.

Bled the system, and seems to be working fine. It's stiff, but the steering wheel has return, which it has not for some time.

I put in a new underbelly pan, and the tie rod end was a casualty, so that has been replaced, and thankfully everything went in and stayed aligned.
