Default Is this a stock driveshaft

my 03 has 120K. I'm guessing that this isnt the stock driveshaft, but if it is I obviously need to go ahead and have it replaced

thanks

You can't tell by the end pictured. You need to look at the other end with the double cardon joint. If those two u-joints have grease fittings then it's been done, if not it should be replaced or rebuilt. You may want to do it anyway, unless you absolutely know for sure it was done recently which I'm guessing you don't know by the sound of the question.

It's well worth the money to rebuild or replace it, much better than having to buy a new one, along with a transmission when it finally does go BANG!

Plus, once you resolve your drive shaft issue, put a temporary grease fitting where that plug is so you can lube the slip shaft, do that on both drive shafts at least once a year.
