Default Strange Infrequent P0441 Occurence

I have been searching the forum for P0441 Evap error code resolution. A number of threads popped up. However, I was not able to find anything specific related to my circumstance.

The P0441 code comes up on the occasion ONLY AFTER:

1) Engine has been run for a while, AND
2) After engine has been switch off for not too long and then re-started

I am able to clear the code using my Ultraguage. The code then does not re-appear for the rest of the day.

The purge valve is a Bosch unit replaced a couple of years ago. I have checked all the hoses for leakages. Another other ideas for diagnosis or fix? Thanks!

I've got this too, only comes up once a month or every other month. Comes on after I get off the highway and stop at the traffic light or if I've been driving and then stop and restart(although this only happened once and just recently actually). Really strange, never really looked into it other then changing out the purge valve like a year ago and nothing changed so, bad part? I dont know... Infrequent enough to never go out of my way to fix it, lots of other stuff to do

You could unplug the purge solenoid and connect it to a 9V battery, listen to see if it clicks. If it doesn't the solenoid is bad. I replaced mine with the Hyundai one for $25, super easy swap.

I did not know about this test. Thank you. I will give it a try.
