stuck oil filter
Sounds like you had one put on too tight.
What sort of a filter wrench do you have?
Do you have a large set of channel locks, worse case they will work.
I have seem some that had to be cut off with a hammer and chisel.

Take a long narrow punch (say no less than 8") and drive it through the filter with a hammer, then use the punch to turn the filter. Pretty messy, but it works great. Then go buy an oil filter wrench for next time (the type that fit over the end of the filter work great, all others are a pain in the butt.
Just make sure and poke the screw driver/ punch through the bottom of the filter. As said before, messy, but works great. Get a K&N filter next time. They have a nut on the bottom...
