Driving a while ago and stop to get coffee. Then wont start. No crank, just hearing multiple clicks. Ideas please. We just tune up 2 days ago.

 

Starter, voltage, earths?

If you are stuck by the road, give the starter a tap, can free it sometimes.

Check big fat connections to battery etc.

Do you have a meter to check voltage? Got strong bright lights on the dash?

 

multiple clicks i usually find it turns out to be a bad connection

 

Thank you so much for your quick response. I was thinking of something else coz we just did the coils etc. I thought we screwed up something. Yes, it was the contact. Jumped it then went straight to autozone where I got the battery six mos ago. Battery still good. tighten contact and all ok.
