Well its finally done i wired it into the sub wires for the existing subs that are in the back of the car. everything is wired correctly it was a pain to work in that small space.

Problem: you can here it hit quietly on extremely low bass. i can't get it to hit hard. is it because the land rover amp is trying to over power the JBL amp and only allowing 15 watts to go to the back and is making the JBL amp go into dumb mode since I'm using a high line input instead of RCA?

If i go behind the HU and use an RCA converter will it hit harder or is there something i did wrong in the back of the truck?

 

I did all of the connections behind the HU and my single 12" Kicker Solo hits hard.

Have you tried to adjust the gains at your AMP? Is the bass turned up at the head unit?

 

I got it working i went with RCA and wired it into the back used the rear cigar lighter as the REM and now it hits hard. while tuning the neighbors called my mom to complain
