I reset all codes waiting for light to come back on and the codes I’m now getting are and also what does pending codes mean? Had 5 stored and 2 pending
P1590

P0154

P0140

P0141

P0130

Pending codes

P0161

P1171

so yeah someone well person I buy parts from on eBay told me if I could to cut my losses now but that’s not an option for me, I drive it short distances. Biggest issue right now is the whole have to hit the gear shifter up to get Park to light up on dash, when first driven you can hear some vibration not major but I suspect it’s got to do w the xyz not being adjusted properly. Going to take heat to the front 2 o2 to get them off they are seized in. I think two of the codes are for those o2 sensors but the others not sure why they showing up still

Yah, seems like all O2 related codes. Get ones from your local auto parts near you and save you much of the headache. You can return them if they go bad. Once you get that loose, any O2 sensors of your preference will work. It will be easier to replace after, make sure to keep the threads with anti seize.

do you know what pending means? I did finally get the back two off and replaced~ I bought front and back set of o2 sensors on eBay. Haven’t gotten to the front ones yet bc they are rusted in 😫 it really is that bad like omg did no one ever change these things. It’s crazy. I tried everything to get them off without stripping or screwing them up but nothing worked so I googled and showed a lot using heat so gotta get a map gas blow torch and get that done. As for the xyz I wish it didn’t exist lol like wow just a small part can cause such a huge problem. This vibration thing has me a bit freaked out BUT I did not ever feel or hear this hum/vibration until AFTER trying to adjust the xyz last wkend. Highly doubt it has anything to do with replacing back two o2 sensors unless maybe I freaking kicked something exhaust wise loose cause I had to take my foot and kick the wrench just to get those out... it was bad

When you replaced the rear sensors, were you able to get rid of the 140 and 141? Seems like all your sensors have no activity. Rear sensors check the activity for front sensors. It is very rare that rear sensors get bad. About pending codes, they back up codes to give you more headache. lol
Sometimes they wont show after few cycles and sometimes they will.
I did older discos O2 the key is patience. lol. Start it up and warm the cats and blast it with PB, get an O2 wrench and get a pipe for extension from home depot. Just find a suitable leverage when you turn the wrench. Last I did was a week ago and I had to use a long open wrench and hit it with a big hammer just to get it to move. Well, with O2's everybody's luck is different.

Was that in w the codes I had just written down here yesterday? If so then no, lol. I erased all codes got the CEL to go off and waited for it to come back on, which was this morning driving my son to school so I pull back in the driveway leave the LR running run in get my new code reader and pulled those codes that I posted here. Now on my code reader there is an option that says something like o2 idk something or other that I guess checks your o2 for you? I would def do that if I knew wth I was reading. And yeah I’ve had patience since last March when I bought it for 3k thinking I was getting an awesome deal 😂 the man on eBay says he salutes me for getting dirty and trying etc etc (being female I suppose it’s quite crazy lol) and I’m def not miss gladiator or anything either lol so yeah kinda like yin and yang. But I can brush up in the morning on how to read the o2 test thing and see if maybe I got bad ones, it also went into limp mode on me today as well. I will def do what you said to do and this wkend is when I’ll actually be able to have help with a guy that has a map blow torch, and really it’s rare the back o2 sensors go bad? I think these freakin things were original not kidding. Totally rusted and seized in. So bad. And find a new gear cable thing that goes to the xyz bc mine is rusted honestly everything underneath is rusted lol just the body and car and inside itself is great (guess I should’ve looked underneath it before buying right) and only other thing the guy on eBay said to remove the engine fuse box flip it over and if there was green corrosion I guess showing on those wires well that could mean a lot of my issues have stemmed from that, and buy a whole new fuse box. But honestly even if there isn’t I should most likely replace them ALL lol or whole box bc as the pics show up a few replies there is green corrosion inside some those fuses and def not good he said that means they’ve gotten wet so now I’m like wow maybe someone got this one stuck going 4wheeling or something

Oh and does anyone know the voltage that the LR battery should have? I thought I read somewhere that should be a certain like voltage I wanted to get that checked the guy on eBay the first thing he noticed when I sent pics of the engine fuse box was how I had a refurbished battery which is true and he said w all the power etc needed that it could be my battery which I found interesting and thought well wouldn’t that be awesome lol idk I’ve read many stories on the xyz and everyone is diff but he had said the xyz wouldn’t be causing my not starting and or just sudden die etc that I had electrical gremlins somewhere so fig besides checking engine fuse box the next best thing would be to check the battery and make sure it is putting out what the LR actually needs

It is possible in some rare circumstamces. Usually once you start up then the alternator takes over. Unless in an event that your alternator grounding gets loose and your battery is close to its lifes end then you could stall. Lucky you statted up with minimal battery power and the alternator kicked in once again to charge it. While driving the average voltage is around 13.8 to 14 + volts. Battery should be over 12 volts when not running.

Rare means aka POS? 😂 and man I wish i was on my way to a smooth ride lol maybe once I figure out the stalling and not starting/ limp mode. So but yeah this was an important part to do of course. I swear someone swamped this thing and or like went four wheeling at the beach in the sand just best thing I could come up with seeing all the damn rust
