So all are off and back on except the front driver side one, it won’t thread in 😩 I don’t see any issue inside or anything so I have no clue why it won’t thread back in?? I’m going to part store to buy another one in case it’s the o2 itself so another question does it matter if one will be a diff brand??

Also is the threading on the muffler metric or standard? Anyone know? Bc I’m thinking of rethreading at the same size bc idk what else to do to get this last o2 sensor on

Just go slow, while using the thread chaser, lube it with WD40 along the way and make sure to tighten, then loosen as you go. This lets the threads on the tool clean themselves, if you keep cutting into the exhaust/sensor port without backing it off once in a while...you could/will break the rethreading tool. The drivers side is probably the worse one to get at, but if you add about a foot of extension to the socket...you can ratchet the threading tool easier...by working through the opening just below the lower lip of the inner fender, just behind shock tower. It's a pain, but can be done.

Good luck.

Okay guys I need a little more help. Got them all replaced and drove it today but not for long time. No weird noises etc but okay I cleared codes and waited for SES light to come back on and it did on the way home from my run at the park so first the machine was saying no codes detected it was weird maybe a glitch so I cut car off (normally I have it full running when using code reader) and just turned the ignition key to on and up popped 3 codes so here we go bc I’m about to pull my hair out~ P0150 bank 2 sensor 1- P0130 bank 1 sensor 1 & P1590 (couldn’t give me definition) so then I run the o2 test thing my reader lets me do and took pics of every single screen bc I have no idea what I am even reading but was hoping someone could. Bc after all that work it’s like the o2’s are bad?? Ugh idk the ones at the auto store here are close to $100 each wow and I got my entire set of 4 online for $50 and have 2yr warranty. So here comes all my photos. Someone please help 😩

And another, I have a leak back drivers side of something, I don’t think it’s brake fluid idk but maybe coming from axle? I haven’t taken wheel off yet as I just discovered it today dealing with these o2 but it’s running down the dust shield. What in the world could that be? And will I die driving it 😭 lol

I would try using CRC contact cleaner spray. Saturate the contacts and let dry. I would also suggest an industrial degreaser spray before that.

That might be the cause of your P1590. Its brake related code I believe.

I am referring to the connectors of the sensors.

I sprayed them down etc. it rained today so couldn’t do a whole lot. But yeah so I looked up the P1590 code and it says it’s an abs code 😑 which could explain why my red brake light is still on. So in case I left this out, my Land Rover does NOT have the air suspension deal they come with. The person I bought it from took those out and replaced with reg shocks. Also y’all don’t even know after this o2 deal being able to see MUCH more someone has had their hands all up on it~ there is freaking wires just hanging and so much **** it’s awful. I’m about to start saving so I can take it to the local shop that works on land rovers and jags (I think) only just to finally maybe get someone to tell me what the hell is wrong with it. Well what’s left wrong with it bc I’ve done a TON to it. And looks like someone has even messed with the whole dash, it’s semi loose like and the wheel that adjusts the brightness of dash lights is basically like sunk down in there and I have to stick my finger in to turn it lol. But does any one know specifically which o2s are bank one sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1? Like front passenger ~ back driver etc? Any help plz as I cannot find a positive answer when googling
