Default Sunroof drain mystery rear roof

Pulled the headliner expecting to do the normal drain repair but after a water test I'm not sure what the actual problem is. Water is getting in through between the seal and the glass and should find it's way to the drain. Instead it's filling all around the outside and coming out the rear corner opposite the drain. No leak at the drain cup the hose is attached and if if blow through the tube from the tail light it's clear. In fact is I put suction on the tube it will pull a small amount of water out but then stops. I can suck on the tube again and more water will flow but it will not continue draining.. I'm stumped

Drop your pan, probably leaves in the drain cup preventing water from getting to the drain tube.

Look closely at the motor mounting location, several gaps in the metal pan. Apply silicone liberally

Good call will do and report back. Was hoping to get away with only pulling the rear of the headliner down but it looks like its all coming down now
