Default Sunroof electrics

I have had weirdness, head liner has been out for months, the leaks fixed and using water absorbing stuff the inside is dry, it always smelled damp
the rear roof would open by itself even when parked and I didn’t want to get the headliner in untill that stopped and it has.
the rear is fine, but I never tried the front , and it won’t open, the switch clicks like a relay almost but won’t open, I swapped switches over but no luck, i un bolted the motor, and hit the switch no luck, not a sound .
so where do I go next, a wrecker to get a sunroof ecu,as I wondered if moisture had got into something , or a motor? Or prayer I could try that lol

Next step would be to unplug the motor - and test to see if you are getting voltage to that motor when you press the switch.

If you're not getting voltage, start tracing it back. It does sound like your ECU may be damaged, its just above the front light in the headliner. Two (10 or 8mm Bolts) hold it in I believe.

Remove the front motor and plug it in to the rear, if it moves, you have an ECU issue (unusual), if it does not, the motor is seized (very common due to water intrusion). You can disassemble the motor carefully and remove the rotor, clean the inside of the housing, lube with grease, and reassemble.
