HI I have watched your video a few times now, when I removed mine I literally took the complete frame apart, removing the worm/drive cables fully as they were dry, that when I noticed one of the problems I had was that I was missing a runner on the slide
I made a replacement out of a bit of plastic, I also found it easy as I had removed the complete frame and was working on it on a bench, you may benefit by removing the glass ,it does look like one hook is moving before the other as mine was, it removed my manual handle and the drive gear then used a small screw diver to pulled the drive worm/cable, tight so both hooks hooked in place then refitted the drive gear and handle

I completely took the sunroof runners apart and cleaned and greased everything again, I clearly did not do it properly the last time.
Now both sunroofs are working well.
The last thing that needs to be done regarding the sunroofs is to seal the upper frame to the roof.
Both upper frames have some sort of seal/gasket that 'seals' to the roof.
Do I need to remove this before applying the right sealant or do I need to keep this 'seal' and just put the new sealant on top of this?
I've searched for this but can not find anything about removing this old (factory?) 'seal'.
The seal looks like this one but mine are in a good state, no cracks or anything:
HI
That's not a seal, its sealant its also probably hard, so it will let water in, I cleaned mine off with a wood chisel, then a light rub with glass paper, the a good coating of
Im sure you can get a similar product a good coating, place the frame down then go in the car a screw the inside of the frame in to pull it down even and hold it in place until it has set
Once th frame is in place then get out of the car go back to the roof frame a clean off any excess sealant before it sets
I also silicone sealed the inside frame with a anti bacterial sealant
