Would this be a better adhesive? I've used it on 3 piece wheels, and it's nearly impossible to remove.

since I have repaired mine, that's my game plane. Remove the plastic drip rails and have it linex'd and trace them wrap under the drip rails that way it will seal forever and you won't see it the much with a roof rack
What I can never get to grips with is that they install climate control/aircon and double up with fitting one or even two sunroofs, nuts to me it seems unless you have pets locked in the truck, which you shouldn't have on hot days.
I am using the reflective insulation for a couple of reasons, firstly it's thin and secondly to reduce the heat ingress into the cab area through the roof on very hot days and to prevent the headliner glue breaking down once again. Hopefully it'll work well and if it don't I'll won't post that I've failed

Nomex race wear I hated years ago, when I sweated it made me itch like crazy in the summer, either the heat, adrenaline or the nerves or both

I plan on tackling this soon... tired of having a tarp on my roof!
Depending on the condition of the seal, I think it might be a good idea to replace it. # EEQ500010
As for sealant, I was thinking a marine sealant like this? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Getting our first rain since I resealed the rear sunroof, no leaks. Now I need to tackle the front unit (leaky drain) and get the damn headliner back in...Of course while I've had the headliner out for the last few months, I came up with all these great plans of removing the factory roof bars that serve zero purpose, build my own low profile roof rack, pre-running electrical for roof rack lights and cb stuff....who knows

On the plastic drain well attached to the sunroof perimeter, sand it well, degrease it and use viscous epoxy filler all over and bonded well to the metal frame. After it's cured overnight in a warm place, paint it with a black bitumen paint and let it dry thoroughly.
Stick an airline down the drain tube at the top and blow through GENTLY or you'll blow the tube to pieces or dislodge it, then you're buggered
