Default Suspension bolt kit

I’m looking to replace all suspension bushings, tie rod, watts linkage drag bar Panhard everything and I’m reading that I should run new bolts and nuts..ab sells one radius arm bolt for 19 dollars..is there anywhere I can get a full set cheaper? Or can I run full thread bolts on the radius arms?

thank you!!

You cannot, those bolts are specially sized to not only fit the radius arms but also the mounts. They are stepped where they go through the frame. I installed one the wrong direction once and it clunked until I changed the other way.

No, I am telling you that the bolts is a specially engineered to fit bolt. Those will work, but you will have a clunk in the suspension due to excessive clearance. Why do you want to replace the bolts? They don't wear. Just re-use existing and save your money to get other parts/gear.

Why did you decide to do this?

I did this project last year as a little 200k refresh and reused the bolts. Although… it’s a CA truck so they still look factory new. If they were super rusty I might’ve replaced them.

I *did* however replace any nylock nuts I ran across.

Feels like a brand new Disco after all that work is completed.
