Are you sure you didn't inadvertently knock the transfer case into neutral when you took out your console?

I recently removed my solenoid to fix a stuck high-low shifter. I thought I'd post some pics for anybody more "novice" like myself. Opening the tunnel seemed to be the only route for me, as I wanted to see what I was doing. The high-low problem ended up being the frozen arm coming out of the high-low cover (see my other post on diff lock repair), but the solenoid removal and installation process was educational, to see a bright side. I ended up reinstalling it because my teenage son drives the Disco and I could just see one of his friends jokingly testing the high-low shifter at 60mph on highway.
Two things to note: 1) solenoid cover torque is fairly light. Check RAVE before over-torqueing. 2) I used Permatex Ultra Black as re-assembly sealer based on other articles I read, similar to the Hidrosyl recommended by Land Rover.

Solenoid removed and being tested (notice solenoid on top right of picture). I tested as described in a video on Discovery 99 solenoid. Also notice blue shop towel covering open solenoid location on top of transfer case inside tunnel.
