Default tech help

Can someone tell me why a disco 2 will not start? other than the battery, i have a 1999 disco 2 and i can not figure out why it will not start. It has 130,000 miles, it just seems its something simple but cant figure it out.

Have you checked the obvious stuff like gas, spark, does the starter turn the engine, etc? You need to be a bit more specific.
If the starter is turning the engine over and you have gas and spark and all else is good then the likely suspect is the crank position sensor.

Is the engine turning over, just not starting? If so first reset your alarm, lock and unlock it 3 times. If that doesn't work, reset the inerita switch on the passenger fire wall. If it still doesn't start although the engine is turning over, then replace your Crank Sensor, pretty common problem.
