Default tech help plz

Hi-im hoping someone can give me some assistance on a range rover im working on at the moment-the manual i have is unspecific on a few areas eg1) the plug caps are unmarked and there is a 4 pin inline distributor at the rear of the engine in a very unaccomodating place-i need to know the order of pins to plugs as there are no marks.2) the manual says to do the camtiming, you need to horizontally line up the two timing marks on the cam pulleys-well there are 4!-1 inlet and 1 exhaust mark on each pulley-could someome enlighten me as to which marks to line up please. Any help would be greatly appreciated-cheers.

Default RE: tech help plz

the vehicle is a 1992 model with 4 pot lump long. not traverse. it came to me with one valve broken and head apart. have replaced the valve and put head back on-now need to finish rebuilding the engine which entails setting up timing, and also the plug problem before i can get her running. i couldnt tell you the vehicle model, just that its a range rover, but if such info is necc. to provide answers, then can find out tommorow-thanks !
