Well I must have an older design.
As I DON'T have grease fittings.
I also have an aluminum pinch block to connect the damper to.
Not the stamped steel with U bolt POS show in the link I attached.
I have an email to Lucky 8 (where I bought them) as to the type of rod ends are used.

Same here. I'm happy with the rods, not so much the boots on the ends. But despite the leaking ends (which came greaseable on mine), they have held up well.

I installed Terrafirma HD steering rods today. When I greased them the excess came out the perimeter of the side with the zerk. The dust boots did not "inflate."

That means your grease gun was not connected well, and you were not filling the boot with grease! Get back under there

I had the old style Terrafirma HD and NO mine were not greaseable.

And since no one could tell me at Lucky8 (were I bought them) what rod ends I had, without removing a rod end and measuring the diameter and pitch, I just when with $130 set of eBay. I'm not going to have my rig in pieces waiting for parts if I don't need to.

I pretty sure my set was using D1 end for 3 reasons.

They had the castle nuts and washers.

Track rod tie rod ends were almost to long for the ends to come out of the steering knuckles because it was hitting hard on the bottom of the rear end of the diff housing. It took some effort to twist them out. The new one dropped in easy.

And my terrafirma drag link had an aluminum block to mount the steering damper to, early production design?

Hijack! lol
Anybody got a good link for rubber boots for the Terrafirma tie rod ends? Mine barely lasted 8 months and they are split all to hell.

I have the terrafirma drag link and track rod, they are definitely greasable. They also are the HD variant like found on larger trucks, the boots don’t fill with grease, they are there only to keep dirt out. The old grease is purged through slots in the top of the link by the grease nipple. This characteristic is common on high end heavy duty rod ends.

Hijacked again! Lol
Anyone know the measurements/threads of the castle nut for the Terrafirma tie rod end?
Today I crawled around underneath and found the castle nut split on my tie rod end. Luckily the split/cotter pin was still holding the castle nut in place.
