Default TF MD 2” lift inconsistent

I switched rear coils to the correct handed side and still have almost an inch of variance. From the pic below you can see the Driver Side top coil is compressed more than the Passenger side. Who knows!!!?!?

so my TF HD springs were exactly the same? The part number on them had no difference? They sit exactly the same? The instructions say they were left and right sided, but they were the same part.

FYI you should flex the springs in the garage before you wheel it. Mine flexes enough to spit the coils out, and was easily capable of snapping the rubber brake hoses, I actually had to put limiting straps on mine even with the longer abs and stainless brake lines.

are you running an extended watts link or remove sway bar? I would further extend those lines in case a strap fails. Maybe it's the 3" coils but with no sway bar I'm still not dropping coils...

watts is stock the sway bars are connected other than i put a longer link on them due to the 3 inch lift, it wont flex enough to overun the longer brake lines but it will extend enough to let a coil pop out. If i brake the limitng straps that will be the least of my concerns ans i would have to have done something very wrong. I have run the same brand on several different rigs over the last 15 years, they are tough as they come.

If each spring is the same length in your photo, then that should not be happening.

Coils should not touch each other unless they are highly loaded.

Did the springs look and measure the same before you put them on?

I had them on the wrong sides. They were marked very faintly on the spring. All good now.

Took a picture of my rear spring with the truck unloaded in the driveway. I am surprised how close the coils are. I have TF medium with stock plastic rear bumper. About 30,000 km on them.
