Default 2 inch coil lift

Ok well even though I said I did not want to go to a lift...in order to put the 70 tires I need to do a lift.
So in reading it seems the easiest and cheapest is the 2 inch coil lift that goes on top of the coil ON ebay for 150 shipped and 2-3 hours install
My question I know if you go to a 3 inch lift you have to change some things with the steering, brake lines etc
With the 2 is that needed or is that mild enough you can get away with just the lift

Everything I've read elsewhere indicates no changes are needed for a 2" lift.

I've heard front driveshafts fail shortly after a lift, so you should change to a greasable driveshaft in the process.

I personally wouldn't use cheap ebay suspension parts, but to each his own.

I would do shocks as well no matter what size lift you go with.

I'm at 3.5" on stock brake lines, driveshafts, radius arms, etc. I only changed the springs and shock mounts. At 2" I'd still change the shocks or modify the mounts if you've got the fabrication capability, but everything else will be perfectly fine.

At $150 I'm guessing you mean coil spacers instead of lift springs. Nothing wrong with that, I made my own spacers for the rear, but only use them if your springs are still within spec. Have you measured your ride height from the hub center to the fender flare? If they've sagged then I would recommend getting actual lift coils instead of spacers. Lucky 8 can set you up with a Terrafirma kit in that case; it's probably your cheapest option.

Oh, and also! If you do end up going with the spacer kit then you will only need rear shocks. The front spacers will also move the front shock mounts up.
