Default Is there a written procedure for fixing a timing cover coolant leak

I did a search and checked in tips and write ups and couldn't find anything about fixing a coolant leak at the front timing cover. Can anyone point me to a write up on that procedure.

You will need to remove the front cover to replace the seal ERR7208 > Gasket - Front Cover (ERR7280 Same Fit As Part # ERR7280 ) - Land Rover gaskets and seals from Atlantic British to stop the coolant leak, so now is a good time to replace the oil pump gears and timing chain.

If you are going to have to remove the front cover you should go ahead and replace the oil pump gears. My favorite local Rover specialty shop said they've seen healthy number of cracked oil pump gears, not including the ones that came apart completely and ruined the front cover. The same logic holds for the timing chain. It's not a small job to do the front cover gasket, as explained in the writeup linked above, so while you are in there spend a few bucks on a few parts and give yourself some peace of mind.

User Alex_M made a great write-up:

And the RAVE has all the details, but you kind of have to piece it together.

^^^ X3 on the above^^^
might also consider oil sending unit sensor while you're down there. Not a common fail point, but it's inexpensive and much easier to get to while doing this project.
