I need a tip or advice to re-install the top piece that is on top of the interior door panel.

Ever since I put the door panel back on this piece will not stay attached. Every time the glass is raised back up it comes loose.

Is there a trick to setting the tabs? I'm assuming that the door panel goes on first and then this piece that fills in the gap between the panel and the glass.

I’ve done this a few times and it worked best for me to start the top piece making sure the clips straddle the top edge. For me sometimes I thought clips were in right but weren’t. Line up the door panel and get it started almost fully in, just past edge of the top piece where it comes down. Seat the top piece fully and then door panel.
