Default Tire wear

Do the tires wear faster on the front or back? I would think they would be pretty close, but the tires on my Disco are more warn on the front, but I've only had the truck for two weeks so I don't know the rotation history. The tires look like originals.

Tires wear faster in the front because your front ttiress do the turning, among other reasons. Anyway, I believe rotation should be every 15,000 miles, I think. Go ahead and rotate em, then stick to the 15,000 mile rule.

I do mine at 7,500 miles, 5-tire rotation. With this method they last up to 45,000 miles.[sm=smiley2.gif]

Good deal, this is the first 4X4 I've owned, my other cars were all rear wheel drive and I always wore the rears out first.

Thanks
