Ditto on AT2's. Great tires at a very reasonable cost as well.

 

I finally settled on the General Grabber AT2 - 255/65R-16 - and when I went to price it every shop came back with Nationwide BackOrder. I called Continental and they researched their warehouse and confirmed the Nationwide Backorder.

I live in Baltimore MD and have decided to wait 3 months before I try again. Hope they are not obsoleting the tire and have just run out. I was told that since so many tire brands types sizes are now produced at one plant they set up and manufacture an inventory then switch over to a different mold and repeat the process.

Any thoughts from others about the AT2 Backorder. I was amazed at the number of reviews (25 AT2 for LandRover) when compared to other tires (2 - 4 LandRovers).

My treads of my Original Michelin 4X4 are still good the age of the tire is just starting to show the beginnings of dry rot and also slight vibration at between 60 - 65 MPH after I rotated Front to Rear.

I might just rotate back and wait the 3 months.

that sucks, i still needed to by a spare,lol. I still have the stock spare tire, It's barely got 100 miles on it, but its not the same size tire, plus its from 1998, when the disco was brand new,lol.
