Default tools needed for head gasket

is there some place that lists exactly what's neede for a head gasket replacement on a 95 disco? my regular guys don't want to be in the middle of it and have to make the "well we can't do it" phone call. and thanks to disco mike for convincing me to not go the dealer route. really trust and like my regular mechanics, they just don't see a lot of these trucks. thanks for any help. Bill

Bill, the only special tool your mechanic will need is the wrench for the fan. They are so cheap, you could go buy one for the mid $20 range, otherwise, it is just the typical hed gasket job.

Bill, I just finished doing the heads on my Disco Dos. I highly recommend a decent, ratcheting torque wrench. The angle on some of the stretch bolts make it difficult to reposition the wrench when you are doing the final torques. Like Mike said, it is a straight forward job. Have fun.
