Thanks for all of the feedback! Short well impact metric sockets sound like a great investment. What size drive should I look for in a set?

Most impact sockets are readily available in 1/2", you'll have to look around for some in 3/8", but they are out there. Just make sure whatever you buy has a good selection of sizes.
