it was all really cool at first but part of the downward spiral was when she decided she knew more then me and when she would have a mechanical issue and she would look to her guy friends for help and not me,,,, that crap was a no go with me.

she couldnt understand why that would make me mad.,,,ladies never ever bruise your mans ego by getting advice from other men when it comes to mechanical things haha.

 

I've found that if she wants the other guys opinion, she needs to take it to him when she effs it up. lol. Atleast that's what I insist on. Before my (now ex) wife and I were married i drove her almost new cougar and noticed the tranny was slipping a little. I told her that it needed to be serviced. Her father, the car dealer, told her (and me) "There's nothing wrong with that damn car. I drove myself. And I serviced it myself." Of course I was wrong.... until she called me three days later to pick her up because her transmission had gone out. Sometimes it feels sooo good to be right. And you know, that guy never did appologize for being an a** about it.

 

+1 Spike, I made by boys have old cars to learn how to work on them and so when the banged them up they/me were not out much. I think they got some of it, but still amazes me how much they let slide on their now newer cars or trust to Jiffy lube.
