Default Tow bar for Disco II

Hi. I'm considering buying a Disco II. I'm looking for suggestions for a simple and inexpensive way to mount a tow bar to the front bumper. I'm hoping to avoid buying a new bumper.

Very nice Disco. I actually saw the same exact add posted in Portland. I tried calling. No reply. Figure it must be owned by a flake or a scammer.

But still, I like the tow bar arrangement on it. However, using that style appears to require a whole new aftermarket bumper.

Perhaps you can make two cut-outs in the plastic bumper.... and weld the mounting plates for the tow bar into the steel bumper underneath? However, you will need to first confirm the strength of the factory steel bumper.
