Pins are a bit loose, but seems stout enough to handle a small trailer. I'd definitely get something higher quality if I were towing a boat...

That should be fine. If the hitch pins are loose you might want to replace them. If the pins are sloppy you can stress the welds that the 8 year old Chinese kid did. I would just get better quality pins, or use ( 2 ) grade 10.9 bolts with nyloc nuts. The bolts would be my 1st choice. Good Luck!
