Traction Control Light and Rattle Noise
Each time I go over a bump while turning my traction control light comes on and I hear kind of a grinding / rattle noise coming from the left side of the vehicle.
I'm thinking it might be the ACE system? Any ideas? Thanks.

That noise is the ABS modulator motor engaging the shuttle valves which rapidly apply pulsing micro bursts of brake fluid to whichever wheel speed is greater determined by the ABS wheel speed sensors. This action works with the differentials on the truck to drive power to the wheel(s) that have traction and not to the wheels that don't. This is accentuated through rough corners as you discribe.
You can rest assured that when this happens, the traction control is doing what it was designed to do.

DiscoJ: Thanks for the explanation. I think I will likely not worry about it then.
Dusty: I'm not sure about the HUB. Maybe I will ask GBR to check it out next time I am in there.
Thanks again to both for the responses.

My traction control kicks in every time I leave my neighborhood, there's a slick piece of road that I always goose it on and kind've drift the rover... but then the traction control kicks in and ruins my fun
Check the ABS sensor on the offending wheel. I had the same issue and it was a failing hub. Gears ground up so much it caused a build up on the sensor and ground it down. See here: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...-w-pics-59222/

Yeah... My point, too. Grinding/rattle is not the sound I expect from t/c. I have to work harder than a little bump in a turn to need it. (Slick spot or dolomite air born speed) .........the latter is fun, though.
Jack all the wheels up (one at a time) and feel for play in each wheel. Pull the top the wheel and push the bottom at the same time and feel for some play, that's a sure sign of a bad wheel (hub) bearing.
I've generally noticed traction control by a really rapid ticking sound(and the green dash light) from what sounds like below and to the left of the steering column. I've always assumed it was a relay or some such.
All in all, it's pretty surprising how much traction I get before I hear it kick in. Other vehicles(both front and rear wheel limited slip) have spun where the rover doesn't even blink.
