Traction light

Default Traction light

Traction light
Traction light comes on and slightly brakes. No other lights come on.

Traction light comes with braking on the left hand side wheel front.

That means you have wheel spin on that wheel and traction control is taking care of it. The light comes on if its working and if you engage the CDL before starting the vehicle.

When I start it up all lights go out. When I drive off just the traction control comes on and then the front left wheel starts braking slightly.

@Shelly23 Could be a squirrely wheel sensor - the traction control works by a speed differential, so the system thinks the left front is spinning. I would pull the tire and check the hub and wiring.
