Really? you HAVE TO remove the exhaust y-pipe and the crossmember? I got the D2 filter kit from Atlantic British, want to change my filter too as i dont know whether the 30 k was done or not

On a D1, yes. On a D2, no. They are MUCH easier.

nice, I have a D2! now, on a D2 wheres the filter located? bottom of the tranny or on the side?

On the bottom. You have to drain the tranny fluid and remove the pan, then it's right there.
