Default what torx bit is the tranny filter?

I just removed the transmission pan in an attempt to change the fluid and and filter. i tried both the 25 and the 27 size torx bits i have and neither seam to work. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as it seam like a waste to go through all the work of replacing the filter without actually replacing it. thanks

Not sure the size but I know you can get a torx bit kit from Harbor Freight or Sears for pretty cheap just run out and buy one:

Well, just got back from walking to lowes. I bought a new set of torx but found out the reason the ones i had didnt fit is because they were stripped. so i tapped the next larger size into the hole and got one out but the others didnt budge. they seam to be made out of warm butter. the one that came out was still in there really tight my guess is there were over tightened by the last owner. so i need advise on how to get the other two out and where to get new bolts on a sunday. (im assuming this will take most of the night)

Well you dont have to use torx head bolts as replacements, just make sure that you get the same thread pitch and count.
As for tips on getting them out...I dont have any, sorry.

Get one of those damaged screw remover kits:

Or maybe you can get a vise rip on the outside rim as a last resort.
