Transfer Case Seals
My T- Case leaks like crazy to where I refill a quart every other month.
So I've decided to take it out, replace all the seals and re install. Are there any good complete kits out there or a list of seals?

Just change out t case tonight, owned discovery two weeks now and once drain off seemed not much came out maybe quart or bit more. So wiped case down to see if I could spot where leak and wondered what seal I can replace without pulling out. How many seals or gasket are on, and can they all be done without pulling. I will keep on for next week and see if I can see where leaks from. And that top plug hard to reach what is best way people found to remove I used a swivel but real bad location for one.thanks as well.
Not sure the exact differences with a D1 and D2 t-case, but they're both LT230s and share a lot of seals. Here's this: GASKET SET LT230 TRANSFER BOX RRC, DEF, RTC3890,RND459, PLD459 - Land Rover Parts | Rovers North
I checked MCat and couldn't find a gasket kit for the D2 t-case.

to get to the top plug use a 1/2 ratchet, 10in extension, and a 1/2 universal. Put the extension on the ratchet and the universal on the end, now reach in from the back of the truck over the output shaft and the universal will side right into the plug.
I was able to loosen with my 1/2 wrench then used the swivel and extension to remove plug. Just not best location for plug, but like many other cars and trucks always few bolts hard to get to. Thanks for help on. Will keep eye on t case see if I can find leak.
