It was the plug or sensor on top of the shifter bar above the gears.. Removed it and it poped right out.. I should be good to go..

 

So now I can't get the front cone to go back on all the way.. It stops about an inch from closing all the way..

I took this cover off to hopefully see whats blocking it, but I cannot see anything stopping it.

Any have experience with this and what i need to do next??
