I had to cut the hoses off behind the transmission cooling line couplers because they were so rusted up that no amount of coercion, swearing, and penetrating lube would get them off. The nipples on the trans cooler are not ******, so there's little chance of the hoses with clamps on them staying in place.

I was hoping someone might know what the couplers are called so I can call around to try to find some. I'm sure that I could make this work much more easily and cheaply than replacing the lines if I had two of those couplers fabbed up with a proper brass ****** nipples on the back of them to re-attach to what's left of the trans cooler lines using a proper band or t-bar clamp.

No hydraulic shop near me had ever seen the fittings before, so I was forced to buy another set of cooler lines. It was worth a try, but oh well.

Obviously. The point is that it's broken. B_A_R_B_E_D is a problem, but nipple is OK? That's doesn't make sense for even the most puritanical of filter lists.
