Default Transmission Cooler Lines

So i was driving down the road a couple months back and started to see smoke coming out the back. I was like uh oh this isn't good. I looked down at all my gauges and saw nothing. Then i started to smell the smoke and it smelled like something was burning. I pull over and low and behold i had transmission fluid running out under the passenger side in the front, under the battery tray. I was so disappointed because i just had fixed a water/radiator fluid leak from around the timing chain cover. I was ready to shoot my "Gremlin".....I ended up calling my father and we towed it home....Well i was so mad/disappointed/pissed i just left it in the driveway contemplating on selling it like it was for about three months. Well after that three months i decided i missed driving my "Gremlin" around even though it gives me headaches but i do love her. Well more of a love hate relationship. Come to find out it was the right side transmission line sprung a leak right at the connection point from the hose at the crimp at the quick connector. So I'm like ok not to bad until I see the price tag on this hose. I ended up finding prices from $147 to $200. But i new there had to be a way to fix it without buying the whole damn hose. So I search around and search some more, I end up finding a company in Greenville, NC that could rebuild such hose I was STOKED to say the least. Cost me only $25.19 to have the hose rebuilt and even added a connection point between the hard line and the rubber hose so in the event this ever happens again i dont have to take the whole hose down. They also said that they could rebuild any lines like this brake lines, power steering lines and such. SO if your in need of one redone and dont want to pay the overly priced line give them a call.

In the pictures the fixed connection and their business card if somebody needs it
