Great! I drove the disco around this morning after cleaning everything up. The transmission was shifting fine before, but now everything is super-smooth. It indeed makes a difference!

BTW - I found that a torx-25 bit worked very well to remove the transmission filter.

Great I will get to my transmission filter one of these days, I've gotten to everything else. I am thinking of switching over to redline synthetic ATF. I will do that before winter gets here.

Oh - one more tip on the transmission filter. I tried my local Autozone, Pep Boys, O'Reillys and Advance stores and none had it in stock. You might want to add one the next time you order something from Atlantic British/Rovers North.
