FYI, if you need those plastic grommets that go under the tread plates for the screws, you can get them at your local hardware store that carries parts from Hillman Group. I had my hardware store order a small box for me.

Product number is 45989-H, Item #400169

Comes in a box of 20

Here's a prior thread about it: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...iece-id-95112/

got her all done. just have to let the final coat of paint dry good before installing the carpet (which I had to remove a ton of rust stains from it). then the seat gets rebolted.

here it it today:

2 days to do this....1st time ever did a floor. not a perfect job...but it's a 20 yr old rig. get me by for another long while.

btw...I put a new door seal in and closing the door now is VERY hard. do you have to adjust the striker plate when you put new door seals in?

not sure about the striker plate but you can adjust the window frame. Remove the door panel and loosen the bolts at the bottom. This allows the window frame to tilt. I had to do this to get rid of some wind noise. I have been following this post as I have some floor rot in the same area. Great job!

Great idea. I had to get mine out of the UK on Ebay, but will be delivered in early January. (I ordered in early December.)
