Me, while everything is fresh in your mind...l'd pull the upper intake again, fix the broken bolt, have the injectors tested/cleaned/rebuild/replace o-rings and check the wiring harness over with a fine tooth comb...those wires come out of the top of the injector and immediately bend over (causing stress and breakage of wires).

Anyway. Yes, l believe, the injectors are to commonly over looked during engine misfire conditions. Yes, doing a tune up is the first line of defense. However, another thing that gets over looked is doing a compression test while plugs are out. This simple test can provide valuable information about the internal mechanisms...and rule out any internal issues causing the misfire.

Again, get back in there now...while things are fresh in your mind.

And...hug, call and tell those that you love...as much as possible.

UPDATE

I did the Seafoam yesterday via the intake. I tried the brake booster vacuum line but, truck kept dying.

I noticed an increased throttle response and the engine seems a bit quieter.

Also, butt dyno said more power, however, it may just be in the increase throttle response. I will say I got a traction control light when giving it the beans from a stand still in sports mode, I don't recall that happening before.

I did not get a lot of smoke out of the tail pipe, was hoping for a huge plume but, it only smoked for a few seconds. Since I ordered (2) cans, I may do another treatment today just for fun.

I got similar results when I ran Seafoam through the fuel tank. Since mine has new heads, and the TB was already clean, I didn't bother with running any through the intake.

Did you run the seafoam thru, then let it sit 10-15min then restart it?

Followed directions on the can
1. warmed truck up
2. increased RPMs by 500
3. sprayed into intake (did take about 10 minutes to empty can when directions said it should take 5)
4. turned truck off for 15 minutes
5. restarted truck, small plume of smoke
6. took truck for a romp around the neighborhood

Curious, how did you keep the truck running with the brake booster vacuum line disconnected? My truck would stall out immediately.

Disconnect a vac line at the intake and connect a spare 2-3ft vac hose in its place at the intake. Pinch the new vac hose so it's not fully opened up and let the vac open end of the line slowly suck in the seafoam.

Ah...I just popped it off and tried to start the truck

I look around for an extra hose that I can use and give that a try, thanks!

Yeah try using vise grips on the spare vac line to pinch it and leave just a small opening. If it sucks in to much seafoam or unregulated air, it will stall out . When I get to the end of the bottle I let it it suck in the last bit almost wide open to stall it out, then I turn the key off and let it sit and do it's thing for awhile before firing it back up and smoking the neighborhood out
