Default Trouble codes: P1412, P1415, P1668

So i'm getting a check engine light and when I read the codes I get P1412, P1415, and P1668. As a couple of people on here may remember, I recently had a crank sensor failure. I replaced the part and the truck is running fine. I also replaced an O2 sensor while I was at it, as I had a code for that one as well. I'm wondering if any of these repairs could have set off the codes. Is the crank sensor just a plug in and go? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again guys.

Side note- I ran seafoam through the engine right after the repairs.... don't know if that's notable but i thought i would mention it. Also the P1415 fault is Air Pump Circuit Malfunction Bank 1, and P1668 is PCM-IDM Comm. error. Not sure about P1412.

I had the same problem after taking the vehicle to DMV in Delaware. Codes P1415 and 1412 showed up when I cleared my SES light before going over to DMV. These codes are the result of the SAI (Secondary Air Injection) system. After reading through some of the posts here I found one that explained this issue. My Discovery II had a busted plastic hose from the SAI unit which I repaired and replaced the SAI Solenoid Valve with a new one (cost me $26.00) from the dealer. I re-scanned the vehicle, cleared the SES light and drove the vehicle for about 50 miles, all the codes are gone now. I'm hoping this will fix the culprit.

Default Thanks!

I'll give that a shot! Hopefully it will fix my lights as well. Thank you very much for helping me out. I'll let you know what happens.

i just ran Seafoam Engine cleaner through my 04 Disco II also and had the same result. The guy at the shop who read the codes for me said that some engine cleaners aren't O2 sensor friendly and it might have hurt the sensor. What did you end up doing to fix P1412 and P1415?

well if none of the hoses one the secondary air have been pulled off then listen and feel for the valves to be open. if it sounds really loud and the valves are making a thump thump sound then they are open when they shouldn't be. If the are you can clean them out with brake clean. But those same valves can take out the solenoid or the pump. Seen a few pumps killed.

After a closer looks with some better lighting I discovered one of the secondary air lines was not plugged in. I still need to have the check engine light turned off.
