Default trouble lights are on! ABS, TC, hill decent, check engine...

First time owner...
Help!!!
I bought this LR and the ABS doesn't work. When I test drove it I hammered the brakes and I thought they worked but when I tried them in the snow they didn't work and neither did the TC. What should I do? There are no LR dealerships within a 2 hr drive.
Thanks

this is an option, I personally have not done this but plan to to fix my ABS error, check out his other links too.
these are know as the "three amigos", do a search with that term and you'll get a plethora of info

Do a google search for a local rover group in your area. Someone might have a Amigo reader and be able to see what your codes are. Short of that I did the option B repair that you will find in that link last weekend on my wifes Disco and so far...no lights. But I had ruled out that it was a sensor and was in the modulator.

you need to read the codes before going after the modulator. it could be a million things. get you CEL read as well it may be a 1590 which will go away once the ABS issue is taken care of but could be unrelated.

read the codes. dont just start replacing/fixing things. probably shuttle valve but you never know. could be squeaky brakes. or 100 other things.

Default Thanks!

I'll try and find someone locally to read the codes and I'll let you all know what the results are.
Thanks
