Default U-Joints

Just wondering what's the average life for the u-joints on a Disco 1? I'm at 120k and assuming they've never been replaced (which is probably true given the lack of maintenance on it) I know they won't last forever and just thought maybe it would be good preventative maintenance.

If they are greased twice a year and if you are not doing lots of water crossing, they can last a long time. That being said, they can fail in a heart beat also.
With your mileage, I would replace all of them quickly.

Guess you're right... better to do it now than on the side of the road. Since maintenance was never a priority for the PO and since I found water inside the CDL tower then I'll get it done.
Stupid question but how many do I need? I didn't check that out when I was last under it and it's only 5 out there!! Should I replace the flex coupling while I'm at it?
